About Us Track Season Cross Country FAQs Coaches 2012Results Gallery Forms Sponsors Practice Locations Links Contact Us Home Walton Youth Track Club The Walton Youth Track Club (WYTC) is a track and field and cross country running club for girls and boys ages 5 to 15 which participates in Northwest Georgia Youth Track League, AAU, and USATF sanctioned meets. No prior experience with running competitively is required to participate on the WYTC team. Our Club has two seasons, track and field in the Spring (March-May) and cross country in the Fall (August-October). The WYTC program is designed to introduce kids to sprint and distance running and field events by providing an experience that is fun, competitive, social, and informative about the sport. REGISTRATION FOR THE 2012 TRACK SEASON Registration and the shoe sale will take place on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at the Big Peach Running Company store at 1062 Johnson Ferry Road in East Cobb (770) 579-0444 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Registration Forms are available here. Please complete and bring to the registration. The initial practice location will change from Sope Creek Elementary to Tritt Elementary School at 4435 Post Oak Tritt, Marietta, GA, 30062. We will stay at Walton on Sundays and during the second half of the season. Regular track and field practices take place at the Tritt Elementary School track on Tuesday (6:00 to 7:15 p.m.) and Thursday (6:00 to 7:15 p.m.) evenings and at the Walton High School track on Sunday (4:00 to 5:30 p.m.) afternoons. Our club will participate in at least five meets which will take place on Saturdays in April and May.
